The 56.4 acre parcel of city land is bordered by Storey Avenue to the north, Hale Street to the south, the current Northbound lanes of I-95 to the west and the abandoned section of I-95 to the east. Only a small portion is occupied by the original roadbed. The Little River crosses under the old road in three places.
The current Little River Nature Trail (Red Dotted Line) starts at Storey Ave (Rt. 113) across from the bus station and generally parallels the abandoned I-95 Northbound lane down to Hale St. If sidewalks are ever added to Hale St. the trail is expected to follow Hale St. to just before Malcolm Hoyt Extension and track behind some of the businesses in the industrial park.
The adjacent land to the east is owned by NAID, Norman Marineau of Oleo Trust -- Clearwater, Florida and Cabot Stain. A considerable portion of this land is wet
